Michael Tadros
Michael credits much of his success to his team’s system of honesty, accessibility, attention to detail and an extensive knowledge of every facet of the mortgage loan process. With nearly four decades of lending experience between them, Michael and his staff are committed to making each client a “Raving Fan,” a philosophy that ensures their place as the trusted lender to their clients and referral partners. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Michael graduated from the University of Illinois. Although his life is very active, he still finds time to devote to his community and his church. A member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and The Better Business Bureau Michael also coaches youth basketball. Michael’s knowledge of the Secondary Market as well as his contacts throughout the industry will help GCM continue to grow in the coming years. Michael currently resides in Florida with his wife Nevene and his 2 beautiful girls Jada and Isabella.
Nevene Tadros
Nevene, has over 11 years of experience in the lending industry, a bachelor’s degree in business finance and MIS, and over 13 years in the financial industry. She is truly passionate about making a difference in her clients’ financial portfolios. Nevene has built her entire business by referral with a focus on educating her clients on the loan process, helping them understand the products available and how to manage their debt portfolio, and honoring her commitments to her referral partners. A seasoned specialist on the volatility of the interest rate market, Nevene is truly viewed by her clients as a trusted advisor on housing and financial strategies. Nevene continually offers financial education seminars that help her clients, referral partners, and the local community understand the ever-changing financial markets and the importance of managing debt.
Charles Tadros
After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Economics, Charles worked for two years at Union Bank Of Switzerland (UBS). Charles soon realized his true passion was in the mortgage industry and decided to pursue a career as a mortgage banker. Charles came on board with Gateway Capital Mortgage in October of 2007. He works closely with Michael Tadros, his older brother, and Nevene, his sister in law, in providing clients with a new and fresh approach to the mortgage industry. Charles is dedicated to providing his clients with personable and reliable service. In his spare time Charles takes pride in being a very active member in his church. He frequently volunteers with the Little Brothers of the Elderly as well as Habitat for Humanity. Charles currently lives in Chicago along with his Boston Terrier, Roscoe.
Shannon O’Brien
Shannon O’Brien has lived in St. Petersburg, Fl since 1992. He has serviced private loans for over 6 years; he is a licensed mortgage broker and real estate agent. Most of his clients are comforted by the fact that he attends all of his closings in person. Shannon prides himself in providing transparency and perseverance for his clients throughout the loan process. Shannon and his wife, Erin, are animal lovers- they live with 2 German Shepherd dogs and 2 rescued cats. Shannon met Erin while studying at their alma mater: Eckerd College (BA). He has donated his time to the St. Petersburg Tennis Center, the Eckerd College Alumni Association, and Habitat for Humanity.
Steve Jargo
Licensed Mortgage Broker with over 24 years of experience in the Mortgage and Finance Industry. Steve strives to have 100% Customer Satisfaction. Having lived in the Tampa Bay Area for over 34 years,an education at the University of Tampa, Steve has grown with Tampa Bay and through Continued Education, Training, and having an open mind keep his clients informed and up to date. Steve is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Florida and National Association Of Mortgage Brokers and has been a Licensed Florida Notary Public since 1987. Julie Cook
After graduating from Buffalo State College with a degree in Economics, Julie worked for nine years in the banking industry. In 2006, she decided to pursue a career as a mortgage banker, and came on board with Gateway Capital Mortgage in August 2008. Julie takes pride in her honesty and devotion to her clients and GCM team. She is an active member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Originally from Buffalo, Julie and her high school sweetheart, Norm, currently live in Land O’ Lakes with their two energetic boys, 16 year old Husky-Taz, and 2 year old boxer-Dash..
I live in Sun Prairie, WI and am married with 3 very active children 17, 15 and 11. I got into the mortgage business in late 2004 as a Loan Processor and received my Loan Officers License in 2007. I love working with First Time Home Buyers and educating them on the process of buying their first home. Re-Finances have been a little more difficult over the last couple of years because of home values but it is my passion to do everything that I can to try to help the customers in these situations.
