VA Loan Checklist

Before starting the mortgage process, you’ll need to have documents that applies to all loan applicants:

1. Social Security cards
2. Residential history for the past two years
3. Employment History for the past two years
4. Last 2 LES (paystubs) or provide income sources
5. Last 2 months of asset statements
6. Credit report
7. Information on all real estate owned properties 
8. Estimated value of all personal assets 
9. Certificate of Eligibility and DD214, (for veterans only)
10. W2’s for the past two years 

In addition, you may need to pay for a credit report and appraisal of the property.
